Currently (Monday the 18th) Tropical Storm Fay is moving in from the south. She’s re-organized through the afternoon, and convective banding has increased at her center; she’s maintaining maximum wind speeds of about 50kt. The center of Fay is over Key West as of 5pm. Models are having a hard time deciding on a specific route, but generally are seeing a northward then eastward trend after about 72 hours. Although Landfall is suggested to happen soon, it is not out of the cards that Fay won’t increase in strength, and it is proposed to build till that point.
